OPEN RESEARCH COMMONS · CURRENT PARENT RP07

START WITH CURIOSITY, NOT AGREEMENT

What might physics reveal if the gaps between our models are not empty?

Substrate Cosmology is an open investigation of relationships that particle physics, quantum mechanics, chemistry, astronomy, and other sciences describe separately. Explore an unanswered question, examine a proposed relationship, challenge an assumption, or contribute an observation.

You do not need to accept the theory—or possess advanced credentials—to investigate thoughtfully.

CURRENT COMMONS SNAPSHOT

Something useful to wonder about today.

Choose a question, a relationship, an unresolved boundary, or a small practice exercise. Empty registries and blocked stages remain visible rather than being dressed up as progress.

SHOW ME AN EXAMPLE

A familiar observation can open a disciplined question.

You notice that two instruments report the same event differently. The point is not to declare hidden physics. The point is to preserve what each instrument could detect, what it could not, and which explanation would survive another method.

01Notice

Two readings disagree.

02Compare

Check calibration, resolution, environment, timing, and ordinary error.

03Expose the gap

Record what each detector couples to and discards.

04Test thoughtfully

Change one condition, define a null result, and keep disconfirmation possible.

Turn your observation into a research prompt

ENTER AT YOUR ACTUAL LEVEL

Different experience should produce different questions.

Choose the path closest to your present purpose. Each begins with different support while preserving the same expectation: uncertainty, ordinary explanations, null results, and disagreement remain visible.

01 · CURIOUS VISITOR

Follow one surprising question

Start in plain language, compare a mainstream explanation with the Substrate Cosmology framing, and decide what is worth examining.

02 · STUDENT / LEARNER

Practice noticing what is missing

Use familiar observations, gentle prompts, and small falsifiable comparisons. No commitment to the framework is expected.

03 · WORKING RESEARCHER

Bring a method, result, or anomaly

Translate existing expertise into a provenance-preserving investigation without surrendering disciplinary standards or negative results.

04 · RESEARCH STEWARD

Protect the common structure

Review lineage, competing frames, conflicts, dependencies, and propagation boundaries before recommending integration.

ONE MONTH IN · IMAGINE FIFTY YEARS OUT

A commons large enough to find what isolated models miss.

What began here in a month could become a planetary instrument: thousands of people, each working with AI, continuously exposing dimensional gaps, correlating recurrences, and testing a common structure in which today’s physical models remain accurate—but as bounded subsets of a deeper Substrate Cosmology.

If the framework survives disciplined failure, fifty years of open co-development could yield relational detectors, new navigational and energy tools, autonomous foundries, self-repairing habitats, living seed archives, closed-loop ecologies, and propulsion architectures able to carry not one standardized civilization but innumerable organisms, languages, cultures, and ways of knowing beyond Earth. The ultimate utility would not be conquest of space, but helping diverse life spread without collapsing everything it touches into a copy of us.
